QGraph-09
The Second Workshop on Quantum Graphs
"Quantum Graphs in Mathematics, Physics and Applications"
Institute of Mathematics, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, October 9-11th 2009
Organisers: Vadim Kostrykin (Mainz), Amru Hussein (Mainz), Pavel Kurasov (Lund)
This is the second in a series of QGRAPH Network workshops and will be similar in format to its predecessor held at Lund University, Sweden, April 17-19th, 2009. If you are interested in quantum graphs and would like to attend the workshop, please do not hesitate to contact the organisers by e-mail or by fax +49 6131 3920949. Please inform your colleagues about our activities.
The workshop will be held at the Institute of Mathematics of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. See travel details and a map of the campus for information on access. All lectures will be held in the "Hilbertraum", lecture room 05-432, which is located in the 5-th floor of the Institute of Mathematics, Staudingerweg 9.

During the workshop, an afternoon tea will be provided. Lunch will take place at Taberna Academica. The restaurant will be opened on Saturday on the occasion of the workshop only.
In the evening there will be a conference dinner in restaurant Plaka (Albert-Schweitzer-Straße 19). Meal costs except beverages are covered by the University Mainz.
On Sunday morning from 10 am to 12 am we plan to have a guided tour through the downtown of Mainz.
A ceratin amount of funds is available to provide accomodation for all participants. In exceptional cases, funding is available to cover travel expenses of young participants. Please inform the organisers whether you need financial support.
Accomodation close to the university campus will be provided. A sufficient number of hotel rooms is already reserved. The participants will be accomodated in the hotel Römerstein, which is located very close to the Institute of Mathematics (approximately 15 minutes by foot), and the Max-Planck Guesthouse (Ackermannweg 10), which is located on the university campus in the Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung (marked as MPI-P on the map of the campus). The way from the hotel Römerstein to the Institute of Mathematics is marked on the plan.
